Grabbing weather data from WeatherLink files
« on: November 21, 2014, 04:14:59 PM »
I was looking around the WeatherLink program folder for a data file that might have the latest current METAR record.  I haven't found it.  Anyone know if this exists? If so, what folder and file name is it in and is it in plain text. I was looking for a simple way to fetch the latest weather data.
thanks

jim

Doesn't exists AFAIK.  All the data is stored in .WLK files which are not plain text. Easiest thing to do would be to have WL create a METAR report.  Of course other programs will produce METAR reports.
