Title: Thermo hygrometer???
Post by: f86sabjf on February 05, 2009, 08:16:08 PM
Hi

Any favorite height for mounting this for more accurate readings or should i follow manufacturers recommendations. My unit is a novice unit an acurite 584 and it says to even keep it out of direct sun. Just curious . I did want to mount it on my tower versus hiding it somewhere. Unfortunately my tower build will probably expose it morning till 3-4pm  in the summer time.

Thanks
 Jeff

Perhaps a stevenson enclosure near the base of the tower for the temp sensor? Height of sensor between 4 and 6 feet off the ground.  :-)

Here's everything you always wanted to know about where to put your sensors, but were afraid to ask:

Warning:  It can become habit forming!   =D>

Man, isn't that the truth! Have you hugged your kid today? Have you relocated your WXsensors today?
