Erroneus pressure readings
« on: June 08, 2019, 03:22:28 AM »
Hi everyone

I recently received an Alecto WS-5500 as an early birthday present, have set everything up, registered it on wunderground and weathercloud, cool!
However, the atmospheric pressure was way too high, so I calibrated the station using the indoor unit. It shows correctly on the indoor unit (1026.6 hPa), but it's reporting 1058.1 in the WS-tool app (absolute I assume), 1047.5 on weathercloud and 1058.25 on wunderground (station ID IFLLIN2)! Altitude is 371m, current temperature 13.5°C.

Does anyone have an idea how I can fix this? Is my brand new WS defective?

Many thanks in advance and greetings from sunny  8-) Switzerland

Mark

Looks like a Fine Offset clone.  You should check the Ambient/Fine Offset forum.
