We just finished up with a thunderstorm a couple of hours ago.  The temperature dropped from 87F to 69F in a few minutes with several gusts to 45MPH.  Oh, and we got 2.93" of rain.  Welcome to York, PA USA.

Airport average high 99° through 17 July. only .10 for month. What a difference from previous 3 summers where 10"+ and highs in mid 80's. You can watch storms dissolve as they approach. I'm talking big thunderheads 35-40,000' with hail and heavy rain. It's like a dome is around area.

I'm not saying it's hot outside, but two hobbits just threw a ring into my backyard.

After a very nice weekend with partly cloudy and temps around 21-22C (70F) it is gradually getting hotter every day, today it was already 34C (93F) and tomorrow the hot weather is supposed to culminate at up to 37C (98F), making it probably the hottest day so far this year, later in the evening as the cold front arrives it should cool down and we expect violent thunderstorms/hailstorms. I cant wait for that since it is already 33C (92F) right now in my flat, despite having all windows opened. It is completely calm, so the air is not moving at all and tomorrow I will be at work from 9 AM to 11:30 PM, so coming back home in the evening will probably not be the most pleasant :D I live in a flat just below the roof and the windows are at an angle so I must always close them completely before leaving the house, when it rains and they are opened it rains inside. In my office we also don't have A/C, but the area is larger so it is not so unbearably hot there.
In my country, probably the hottest it will ever get is around 39-40 (102-103), but this will happen like once a year at most. Tomorrow is probably the usual annual max. I only hope it will be -20C (-5F) again this winter, I love that :D
These days I just feel extremely tired and drink about 5 liters of water daily

I know. I lived at Lake powell/Page for 42 years and it never got this hot.

What was the humidity during those 105+ temperatures?

Today the airports official record 112F, humidity was 14% DP 52. My station topped at 110.6F feels like was 108F.

The humidity is up here so the 90s  are miserable.   The temperature is 91.7 (cooling off), Humidity is 59% and the dew is 75.  that is 104 heat index and the ISS is in the shade.  It is supposed to get worse tomorrow. Rain is 0.55 on my Davis for the month, we have been in a drought. All I water is my veggies, the grass is a gonner.

1:20PM and temperature is already 35.6C (96F), humidity 44% (making the feels like 39.3C / 103F). The forecasted thunderstorms are so far nowhere to be seen on the radar...

I'll take 110ºF with a 45ºF dewpoint any day over this... It's supposed to be hotter tomorrow.

I guess I could say I"m "lucky" to not be having such absurb highs as you guys. Today was my hottest day with 92.5 but heat index stayed about 10 degrees higher than temperature. My ISS gets full sun, sun up to sun down. Perhaps if it hadn't rained so much this month (4.35" so far) It'd be getting even hotter.

Sounds like every bit of the sun's rays are going to warming you up as opposed to evaporating any moisture from the ground. Hope you get some rain soon too!

Neither do I, especially not with an AC fan now  \:D/

It's very comforting to see my ISS getting blown away by the sun at peak heating with an obviously very accurate temperature (compared with stations around me going "berzerk")

That's the way it should be. Mounting shield under a tree is like a cloud being over all day and not something we should strive for.
The only way I can get full sun all day is roof mount. My property surrounded by trees so I'm artificially cool early morning until about 9 am and then last couple hours in evening.

Sad thing is that's alot of people's only options, yet there is so much heat that gets absorbed and radiated by the roof that it's almost worthless trying to get anything near accurate with that sort of setup, especially if you buy an expensive station. I'm lucky that GA power tore down 2 huge trees in my front yard last summer so that there is only one big tree that doesn't shelter my ISS at all (tho it does come close in the morning).
