You will find lots of discussion on this subject throughout this forum. It is a known fact that many so-called "official" weather stations are poorly sited. You'll even find photos taken of these weather instruments located in parking lots with asphalt, buildings and other objects in close proximity to the sensors. Unfortunately, all of this poor siting results in bad data being captured.
You'll also find that in many locations, the barometric readings always show out of tolerance according to MADIS. Mine is an example of that situation. While all of the surrounding barometric readings in my area are stable and follow my reading, the "analysis" readings look like a wild roller-coaster ride.
