Using my old tablet as a weather console
« on: June 19, 2017, 10:29:19 PM »
"Weather Station" app from Google Play looks really nice on my old tablet. It can display my WU weather station info, and update it every minute.

Also look cool on my TV!

That's cool! I wonder if I can find the APK and side load it on my first gen Kindle...

How were you able to get it on to your TV?

Pretty simple to "Cast" your Android screen to a TV via Chromecast.  I do this all the time.

Gotcha. Not sure if the old school Fire can do that, but maybe I'll give it a go.

I have an android tv box connected to my tv, via hdmi cable, as a media player. It is basically an android phone without display screen and call function.
