NexStorm 1.9 and 1.9.1
« on: February 25, 2012, 09:52:07 AM »
New version of Nexstorm available now!

http://forum.astrogenic.com/viewtopic.php?t=1054

Changes in V1.9 are as follows:
1) Support for LD-350. Please note that when used with LD-350 the squelch range is somewhat more sensitive in the lower registers.

2) Data format change in FlashGate IPC1. RAW_X and RAW_Y parameters are now deprecated. Correlated strike parameter replaces RAW_X and will hold a flag indicating whether this strike event belongs to an existing TRAC target. The previously named RAW_Y parameter is unused. Consult user manual appendix E for further information.

3) Data format change in FlashGate IPC2. Merged storms are now announced once over IPC2 at the time of deletion (NSLog related change). Consult user manual appendix F for further information.

Special notes:
To facilitate first time installations we have as of now two separate installers, one for 32 bit Windows and one for 64 bit Windows. The difference is that the 64 bit install package comes with the Boltek StormTracker 64 bit device driver and DLL's and excludes installation of the 32 bit PC speaker device driver which is incompatible with 64 bit systems.

Incremental upgrades -- including the 1.9 patch -- are indifferential, meaning they can be installed on both 32 and 64 bit Windows as long as you already have the appropriate device drivers pre-installed and working.

Note that this mainly affects StormTracker PCI owners!

A new version of StormVue will be available for testing in the next few days!
