Inserting snow depths into the ajax-dashboard while using VWS
« on: August 18, 2016, 03:06:06 PM »
I have a question/inquiry if we can enter snow manually into ajax-dashboard.php using VWS?

I run VWS & understand this is mainly a (WD) clientraw type of file which the scripts read?

I have no problem with & would rather do it/or switch it manually in my ajax-dashboard.php by setting this $displaySnow = false;  // assume normal rain display to "true" when I need or desire to indicate snow versus rain.

My desire would be to just have a simple .txt file, which I update manually, then scripts pick it up when I flip the switch to show snow within my ajax-dashboard-1.php file. However, I am not smart enough to figure out if this is even possible or where to place/redirect such a file for the ajax-dashboard to read if it even existed, thus my problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Best Regards
