Death Valley Weatherbug Station
« on: July 19, 2016, 08:23:44 PM »
The Death Valley Weatherbug station has been offline for two weeks.  Does anyone know what happened?  Also, is this station owned by the National Park Service?

Since this is probably a station we operate and not a PWS, I'm not sure who directly owns it or why it's offline. I would recommend emailing support@earthnetworks.com so this can be directed to our Pro Support team. They can definitely answer this for you. If you don't hear back within a couple days, holler back and I'll have you send the messahe to me so I can escalate it.

Thanks!

Tech Support sent their reply:

Quote
The weather station has been donated to the Furnace Creek Resort by a local TV station. This is a station made and supported by WeatherBug.

The resort is going under some renovations in the area where the weather station is installed. We left a message for their IT staff to do their best to get the station working again.

Hopefully, it will be back up soon!
