How to contact Weatherbug to report station inaccuracy
« on: March 04, 2015, 05:07:07 PM »
I've tried using every contact I could find on the Weatherbug website, but most of the link lead to 404 or some random 500 error when I try to submit it.

On last Saturday we had a storm here with frequent lightning and about the time of a flash the station closest to me started reporting temperatures 30 to 40 degrees below the actual temperature, and now on Wednesday it is still reporting this data incorrectly.
I've found a page telling me what to report, but there is no link to report it that I can see.

If anyone here has in insider there here is the information I've been trying to send:

Flory Academy of Science and Technology (Moorpark, CA 93021) has been reporting incorrect data since Saturday afternoon. (28 Feb).  At the time the data went to the incorrect state we were experiencing frequent cloud to ground lightning and heavy rain.

I won't waste my effort with weatherbug. Contact the station proprietors Flory Academy of Science and Technology.

Hi there!

I work for WeatherBug. Go ahead and fill out this form:

http://backyard.weatherbug.com/group/backyardstations

Just put your Name, Email, and under description, copy/paste what you have in the forum thread here. Don't worry about a Publisher ID, Station Number, or any of that. When it asks for department, choose "Backyard Stations".

That'll go straight to me. I'll then report this to both our station support team and my CTO to ensure we get a resolution on this for you ASAP.

The form will give you an error message once you submit it saying can't load page. Ignore it. I'll still get the case and email you back.

Sorry I just saw your reply (a couple months after the fact). The station resolved itself a couple days after I tried to report it.

Excellent. If you have any additional issues, just holler anytime. I'll be happy to assist.
