Anyone setting up to try time lapse of lunar eclipse?

(1/1)

zackdog:
This is one of the few times I wish I lived on the plains, instead of in the mountains.  Set my snow stake cam up to cover the sky to the WNW last night and shut off the IR to see if I could get the eclipse.  Had thin clouds most of night, but got the information I needed.  Even if it is clear, I think I am screwed.  Moon disappeared behind the hill to my WNW at 5:50 this morning.  Since the moon rises an hour+ later today, that means it will disappear from sight before 4:50 tomorrow morning.  The eclipse is supposed to be full at 5:51 here, so I will miss it.

I hope someone gets a time lapse and posts it here.

Greetings, I was in Oregon and the cloudy skies did not clear for a second...
