No, not within wireless range of one another. Sometimes you can add more sensors than you might think at first, eg if you're just after temperature readings then you can add six temp sensors to a 6345 transmitter for instance. But other limitations might still kick in, eg only one 'full' 6345 or two partials, sometimes the console can display readings from multiple sensors but software cannot log them all...etc

For many sensors at one site you need to be looking at Davis Enviromonitor allowing 4 sensors per node and eg 20 nodes per gateway.

Edit: Though for EM only the initial version has been released as yet, eg (cabled) ISS must currently attach to a gateway & anemometer can still only attach to an ISS. More flexible configurations should be along in the coming months I imagine.

Major point: Davis has discontinued the Envoy8X which could handle up to 8 independent sensors.

Envoy8x could handle up to 8 independent transmitters (without some of the standard VP2 limitations) and with some multi sensor transmitters allowed the Envoy8x to handle more than 8 sensors (as such) in total

You can have as many as you want if they are wired stations.

Meteobridge Pro Red can still do this of course, but does need some relatively simple scripting input by the user to configure the data handling. (And in fact although officially discontinued, the 8X still seems to be available from Davis - while stocks last presumably - I'm guessing that they might still have significant stocks. All a bit of a shame really - the 8X has been potentially a very useful addition to the Vantage family, but the software never progressed from the original WDTU and hence always a stumbling block for many users. All Davis's recent software efforts seem to have been on the new weatherlink.com v2 platform for EM (and presumably before long for existing wl.com users too). So other software projects like WDTU have fallen by the wayside.)

You can have as many as you want if they are wired stations.

But using ISS sensors only and with no provision for supplementary stations.

The OP didn't have those restrictions. All he asked is if it is possible to have more than 8 stations at a time.

Well I'll have to cap it at 8 stations then, I shouldn't need more than that. I have 1 ISS, 1 Wind, 1 Solar/UV, 3 Soil stations, with the possibility of adding a 4th Soil station with 1 port used LOL for a total of 8. I could combine the Wind and Solar/UV to make room for another if necessary.

I'm using the MB Pro Red.

I count 7:

ISS
Wind
Solar/UV (presumably on the same transmitter)
3 x 6345
? 1 more 6345

Oops - your right - forgot about 1x Temp & Hum station. :-)
Yes I have Wind and the Solar/UV seperated from the ISS for better siting.

OK. Well presumably - as you say - you might be able to combine wind and solar/UV if you really needed to add an extra one.

The only reason I don't is because I ended into a stumbling block of Meteobridge where it takes all sensor data from the first ISS ID - my real ISS is ID #2, and the Wind (which would have Solar/UV on it) as #1. It was set this way accidentally and I haven't changed it since it's up on the roof, so I just added another station.

I have a phobia of not climbing the ladder, but getting off the ladder onto the roof and falling. I can push myself to do it but I don't like to ;-)
