WMR100N problem ?
« on: December 11, 2010, 06:22:54 AM »
Hello to everyone

Sry about my bad English in advance :)
I recenty bought a WMR100N station and i think it has a problem :(
The Wheel that spins and makes the selections to my station doesnt work as I would wanted to do.
For changing a value (sensor change in hum/therm) i have to scroll 3 or more times(clicks) or more to start scrolling the sensors but
when its start i only have to scroll 1 click.
The same occurs when I try to scroll anticlockwise 2,3 or 4 clicks at start and then the sensors begin to scroll from
one to an other.
Is this Stardard or my console have a problem ?
Tnx

I don't think u understand me.
I am at the temps value and i scroll throu the 3 sensors i have.
The inside, sensor 1, and sensor 2
The wheel doesn't respond as i think it would
To change the sensor i need to do 2,3 even 4 ;steps; to the wheel, if i want to go back to previews sensors (anticlockwise) the same thing :(
Then after the 1st change of sensors it take only one ;step;. But its hard to control it like this.
This is the same for the -,+ hours change in baro/rain,uv option
I know this is complicated to explain but pls try, so i can go and use the guarantee to have a new station without this annoying problem.

I have a 4 year old 100, the dial started doing that about 3 years ago, I've learned to deal with it and spin it until I get what I want, seems to get better "traction" if I spin clockwise. I've never taken it apart to see what's inside, one of the guys posted an article about adding an external antenna and detailed how to disassemble it, you might try that.
