That is a serious upgrade. Looks like a few of my discovered bugs that I reported got implemented fixes (spelling errors and WU update rate).

Thank you Dan for the heads up and the FP link SirMak.

And thank you Ambient for today's firmware update for the WS-2000 Display Tablet.

I appreciate that Ambient Weather is listening to its customers (THANK YOU VERY MUCH!) who apparently have differing ideas about how time should be expressed. Rather than give another 2¢ on how time should be expressed, consider allowing the user to determine their personal format string in Setup using whatever appropriate coding conventions that are already in place in Ambient's coding; e.g., strftime, MS, etc.

FYI & FWIW - The very stormy and blustery day here in Ellsworth, Maine has already brought more than 3" of rain and there's no sign of things letting up; however the updated forecast icon in v1.3.8 got confused during the transition from v1.3.7, as did the inadvertent resetting for the current event and max daily gust.

Looks like the issue with the icons is due to the pressure delta being reset.  It went from "down 5.2 hpa" (Raining/Stormy) to "down 0.1hpa" (Partly Cloudy).

Yes, that's probably it.

Here's Ed's response:

yes, some things will get reset on an upgrade.

Sorry about that.

Overall, a good update and I have not noticed any major problems.  My data has been reliable including WU uploading.
However, I do have some suggestions:
1. The correct symbol for hectopascal is hPa (upper case P for Pascal).
2. The correct symbol for watts is W (upper case W for Watt).
3. In Canada, we use kPa (kilopascals) for pressure.  It would be nice to see kPa included as a selectable unit.  I realise that I can just divide by ten (the beauty of metric) but it should be added for the sake of completeness.
4. The circles around the temperatures change colour at odd values in Celsius presumably because they are round Fahrenheit numbers.  I would like the ability to customise and select the colour for my own temperature ranges.  For instance, I could define dark green as 0°C to 4.9°C, and light blue as -4.9°C to -0.1°C.
