Hello all, I currently Own a WEATHERMAX weather Station unit, which was made by Maximum Inc. in New Bedford Mass. The weathermax is a great unit and has sensors for wind speed/direction, rainfall, outside temp/inside temp/windchill/barometer/humidity..and records all highs/lows for all readings.also can be reset every night at a specific set time. this is a "WIRED" System and sensors go into a junction box, then 2 wires go to the actual display unit from there. here is a PDF File of the owners manual for anyone interested in having a look at it all:
here is their main site:

http://www.maximum-inc.com/documents/WeatherMAXmanual.pdfI was told that if I wanted to upload the weather Data from this unit to my PC, I would need a weather logger, which they do still have in back stock. They Do Not Make the Weathermax units anymore though. I got mine quite a while ago.
as far as using software for the uploading to the PC, I was told that WEATHERVIEW 32 will work, but I am hoping if someone else knows if there is any other software that may work with this set up? I already wrote an email to VWS and they told me it is NOT cOMpatable with my Weathermax Unit. so if anyone is familiar with this unit I have and can reply with some info, I would appreciated it.
My first plan was to just buy a davis vantage pro2 and use the VWS Software but that may be too costly at the moment for me, and since I already have a dependable and accurate unit, maybe just getting software for now is my best bet.
thanks all, alienxp
