Connected to Internet but no data transfer
« on: May 16, 2017, 12:50:21 PM »
Im very close to getting this working.  Ha, due to my limited knowledge and experience with these things, something has gone wrong at every step.
I just had established wireless communication to my Meteobridge router 3020.
I told it on the weather station page to change from USB to IP and typed in my IP address:22222.  Right??
Then I plugged the Davis datalogger into the side of the Meteobridge.  ??
Now, I have a steady Internet light on the Meteobridge, showing it is connected but no data transfer.
What am I doing wrong now?

I switched back to USB instead of IP address and it's transferring data to CWOP.
So basically this thing is working.
I wanted to be able to use my WL or VWS software on my PC to save data to my hard drive.  I was told by using my Meteobridge IP address: 22222 I could do this.
But some setting must not be correct.

I just ditched the computer based program (Cumulus) and now send everything to WU where I can access it real time as well as maintain historical data.  Have my webcam posted on WU as well. You can check my page out on WU at KCOCANON7.
