Full moon on a clear night
« on: February 25, 2016, 07:02:52 PM »
I live at about 8800 feet elevation and know the moon is especially bright  when the ground is covered with snow, but I really never realized just how bright until I did this time lapse the other night.  Before the moon rises, you can just see the aspen trees and barely the snow on the ground with the camera's IR.  Once the moon rises, things get pretty bright and you can watch the shadows move.

Just thought I would share.
