Last winter in European west coasts
« on: March 08, 2014, 03:11:57 AM »
Bonjour from France west coast !

Our winter has been something quite special, with about thirty storms from December to March !
As far as I remember (meanning end of fourties/beginning of fifties  8-), I've never seen that before!
No ice, no snow, almost no frost, only positives temperatures along the Atlantic ocean in southern Brittany !

A little idea on what we have got, in this PPS: http://dl.free.fr/qsi8MUnm2 from Portugal to Great Britain

Pictures are not so good, but quite impressives !

Much better pictures on this site: http://www.flickr.com/photos/frederic29/ but mainly allocated to French Finistere peninsula !
PS: Photographer is helicopter pilot for French navy based in Brest

From the past three days, sun shines again in southern Brittany ! at last !!! 8-)
