Happy Birthday Ken from the Wheat State! I think your only 30 with 37 years experience?  Thanks for all that you do.  =D>

Ain't it great to be gettin' older, considering the alternative?

If we could just keep the plumbing, windows, sewer system in working order... . ;)

Happy Navel Anniversary!

Birthdays are important. 13 become a "Teenager", 16 old enough to drive, 18 old enough to be Drafted, 21 old enough to vote and drink (not sure which order), 40 over the hill, 65 where's my Social Security, Who Cares!

In the US 18 is old enough to be drafted and to vote.

BigOkie,
I think your youth is showing! When the draft was in place (which would help if returned IMHO) I could not vote until 21 (and I voted for Goldwater!).

Thanks for all the birthday good wishes!  I kinda treated myself a bit early with a Blitzortung kit, a new Davis VP2+, and a Vantage Vue/Meteobridge for my daughter/son-in-law in Illinois.  Also LED lights to replace the PAR/BR incandescent lights in the house.  Guess it'll be a more restrained Christmas this year :)

Thanks to all of you for keeping WXforum.net an active, informative, and helpful place for weather enthusiasts worldwide!

Best regards, and
