New weather software for Davis Vantage Pro
« on: March 31, 2008, 04:51:42 PM »
Hi all.

Weather Elements is a new software for Davis Vantage pro 2/2+.
It uses true client server technology and is particularly suitable for web publishing.

You can get a trial at: http://www.blaasoft.com

Thanks.

The brief descriptions on the web site sound good, however none of the links work.

Expensive

Looks nice though. But for that price I could buy another decked out VP2 with extra sensors and extra wireless units............

Expensive ..

It converts to just under $1600.00 U.S. at todays exchange rates.  Looks like a really neat product though!   8-)

Doesn't say if it'll even send data to weatherforyou.com/HAMweather, CWOP or anywhere else... just a web site.   :???:

Is that just for the software?  Or the software and the Vaisala unit?  I would hope the latter.

Copied from the page linked below:

Weather elements license software for Davis Vantage Pro2/Pro2+

Minimum price to get it for running on a Davis VP the way I read it.

Yikes!  For that price I'd expect to to change the weather to what I need.  :D
