DataSummary
« on: October 14, 2019, 11:49:55 AM »
Wondering if there is a complete list of data somewhere and explanation to the data?
Have an old Excel-sheet but when I'm looking at the "hlrainr" it doesn't seem to add upp with what actually happens in the station???

Cheers.

I will make better document, but I just need time for that. We are going to introduce Meteo-Pi and WiFiLogger 2 in a short while.

hlrainr - this is easy :) HiLow rain rate. This value can be only highest. Comes with time when highest rain rate was recorded.

What is the difference between Wifilogger and Wifilogger 2?

Hardware (ESP32 WiFi chip instead of ESP8266)
Software is the same.
New hardware will allow to add some new features in the future, which are:
- virtual console - more than 1 PC software can connect to the console
- SD card storage - weather data will be stored on SD card
- HTTPS - Secure HTTP will be avaible when it will be needed.

At the moment there is no difference.
Big difference is view. WFL2 looks much better :)

So you're saying I can run WeatherDisplay and Cumulus MX side by side to the same console?  That's worth it's weight in gold right there!

But remember that's for the future. The key point is that the updated hardware in WFL2 provides the potential for new features like something akin to VVP-emulation. But new firmware still needs to be written and thoroughly tested which won't be trivial or necessarily quick.

Sorry, but I don't usually have time to help with individual issues by email unless you are a Prodata customer. Please post your issue in the relevant forum section here & I will comment there if I have anything useful to add.

Understood.  That just throws my vote behind this new feature.  I already have the first version.  But I'd be willing to buy the new version just to get that feature.

I didn't started because I am working with another small projects.
I think first feature will be connect BLE additional sensor. I didn't test this, but should work.
You will be able to connect additional sensor at home.
