2090 wireless range
« on: January 21, 2013, 07:33:55 PM »
Im just setting up my new WS-2090 and it seems to be weak on the wireless. .. only works at a sort range. 30 feet max with no walls between, 15 feet max through interior wall, 8 feet max through a window. Replaced and checked batteries. I have other similar wireless sensors working at much larger ranges through several walls, so I doubt if I have an RF interference problem. (They are shut off when the 2090 is tested.)

Anybody else have similar issues? What are the ranges in your settups?

My mother-in-law has a WS-2080 and it works at 200 feet through several walls!

I set mine up about 80 feet away with a brick wall with one window between.  Plus I use it while I'm operating my HAM radio transmitter..   It sometimes gets out of sync but a reset of the console by pressing the up arrow for more then 30 seconds works to start it up again.
