Beryl
« on: May 27, 2012, 03:38:17 PM »
Just had the first bands of Beryl come through. Man it's nice to have rain again.
Center is supposed to come on shore tonight about 50 miles north of me as either a high end TS or minimal hurricane.
Hopefully it takes a jog south. :-)

I know that FL and S. Georgia has been awfully dry.  I hope y'all get plenty, but I hope it's spaced out some and doesn't all come at once.  Batten down the hatches and enjoy.   \:D/

It's forecast to take a sharp turn to the NE on Tuesday in advance of a cold front and put much of Georgia on the drier NW side of the storm. Right now middle Georgia is the driest but we're not far behind up here. Only calling for 0.5" here but more as you go further south.
