Hi Paul,
no this has nothing to do with the permissions on your server, it is the MetOffice server which is blocking yours. Your server tries to load data from MetOffice, but the response is that you are denied... no clue why, but you cannot solve this yourself, maybe trying to contact them or your provider.

Hi Paul do you also get an acces denied by going directy to http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/pub/data/weather/uk/climate/stationdata/southamptondata.txt ? if so the UK has banned Canada

Though you have to remember that when he accesses it from a browser, it is using his IP, but his server uses his provider IP. This server is likely to be shared so it could also be that some other user of that server was overloading their server so they banned the IP, which now affects all the server users.

This is a problem with shared hosting, one person can ruin it for thousands, just checked it with my server and all is well with the block, Paul, send a ticket asking for a new ip, it might be possible.....

I do not see any data on this page overall summary
I do see the data on the monthly and annual reports

have i forgot to do something?

Yes I am on shared hosting with GoDaddy.
@Ron , I can get http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/pub/data/weather/uk/climate/stationdata/southamptondata.txt ok.

I guess I'll leave this as the one block that I can use but don't.

You could send email to MetOffice and ask them why your server is blocked, but you would need to find its IP. GoDaddy shared hostings usually have dozens of people on the same server... and it could also be GoDaddy blocked in general by MetOffice for some reason

first you select the city you want to use, then the block will show detailed information in a form of graphs about monthly average min/max temperature, absolute min/max temperature, daily precipitation, max daily precipitation, wind gust, wind run, sunshine, solar exposure, evaporation etc.

The MeteoTemplate update should be done every 5 minutes but sometimes it takes 10 to 12 minutes. What can be the problem ?

First thing to check is the CRON job, make sure it is executed every 5 minutes, if you are using API update directly then you need to check the SW. The script obviously works, if there was a script problem, it would simply never update. This must be either Station/Software or CRON job problem Gilles.

No problem with the cron job it's executed every 5 mn, no problem with the station, easy weather IP is updated every 16 s, and the data are sent every 2 mn to WU.

May be a problem with WU ???

Sorry, I don't know what the problem may be. Mine is showing and I don't recall doing anything special during install and setup http://www.komokaweather.com/j-template/plugins/snow/index.php

Hi Paul, tis strange, wonder if its cause i just manually inputted the data, some of it was guestimate too
I cant remember how many days the snow was on the ground, so i went by, if there was percip after the
snow day but i didnt input snow, then that would have been a melt day lol

I don't think that would make a difference as it pretty well accepts whatever data you enter. The only difference I see is that I enter data for every day of the snow season, even if it is 0 (zero). But that shouldn't have any effect as a couple of years ago we had snow in October and I just added a month to the season and then filled in the data for all years going back - pretty easy to add on the input page.

Have you checked your MySQL snow table to see if the data seems ok?

Yeah, i didnt enter 0, i couldnt see any reason why, it would be a pain having to manually do that every day

Good to see you doing better. For the U.S. SPC block the image for the 4-8 Day and the forecast discussion are not showing. It looks like exper needs to be included in the url for Day4-8 whereas for other days it's not. (ex. Day 4-8 http://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/exper/day4-8/day48prob.gif?1497800943286; Day 1 http://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/outlook/day1otlk_1300.gif?1497801705161)
