Sam, Are you friends with anyone at your local WFO? ( Sterling Va )
That is what I did last time was to give my friend a call at my WFO and he forwarded the information to the responsible party and I got a reply back within a day that they were aware of the problem and working to correct it..although it seems they may have not been successful as of yet :) All my previous emails went without reply.

Good Luck!

With our current pattern, looks like it will most likely get stuck again tonight.

Hey Harryca, what email address or whom did you contact? I would like to send them a note of complaint, and perhaps nudge them into fixing this issue.

I sent emails to the NWS Internet Services Team <w-nws.webmaster@noaa.gov> I got a reply from Robert Bunge who is one of the contact persons for the Atom feeds project. I also understand that Mike Gerber is another contact person for the project.

Perhaps all of us should start reporting the problem to that email address. Enough small voices may get us heard! [-o< I am going for it right now!

I'm betting that there's a light switch involved here somewhere.

That crossed my mind since the local airport is the same way. http://www.wunderground.com/history/airport/KEKM/2011/5/18/DailyHistory.html

Mine says they are updating but then again we have nothing current so I would likely be in the same boat as you if I did.
Last account I had was that they were aware of a problem and were working to repair it..no eta though..

Soon I hope!

From the few feeds I have checked, it looks like they finally got it fixed.

http://alerts.weather.gov/cap/ar.php?x=1
http://alerts.weather.gov/cap/tx.php?x=1

Even my tornado/severe thunderstorm warnings page, that takes in all 50+ state feeds, is still getting updated. Usually you would see a whole bunch of warnings that would have expired by now.

It does appear they have!! I just looked at mine and last update was 12:41 for an air quality alert for one of my warn counties.
At the very least this is the first time in a long time I have seen updates before 6-6:30AM Bravo for the team!!!!

I had one earlier for a county in North Carolina and it came and went just as it was prescribed to do

I was wondering earlier today how your situation was doing. Glad it's fixed!! Or at the very least I hope it is !!

The feed was still broken here last evening when we had a severe thunderstorm watch but the feed didn't reflect that status. I finally added a *NOTE* to my site warning visitors that this feature is currently AWOL.

Mine hasn't worked for a long time (several weeks?). For much of the past week we were under a flood watch to a flash flood warning, and the atom feed was empty. Today we've been under a severe t-storm watch for the past 100 minutes, and as usual, the feed shows "There are no active watches, warnings or advisories."

I'm sure you are already aware that there was a change in the URL for the script a bit ago..but I thought I would blab anyway :)

( New URL http://alerts.weather.gov/cap/wwaatmget.php ) Refer to topic=11017.0

I actually have something good to report on the performance of the ATOM Alerts tonight..from here anyway :) I went through several cycles of watches, warnings, special weather statements, and so forth and it appears that it is updating timely even now and everything has came and went as it was supposed to do..Whew!! that is a relief!

It's working ok here today with a tornado watch now out. The alert appeared on my site quite soon after the weather radio alarm for it went off.

Also the 2nd home page using modified AltDashboard 6.95 at http://stillwaterweather.com/2ndhome.php
