Davis VP2 (6152) initial setup
« on: January 08, 2018, 11:56:40 AM »
Hello all.  I have a new station Davis 6152 showing up today or tomorrow.  I ordered the USB datalogger and software along with it.  My question is:
Should I set it up then power it down and add the data logger.  Or should I add the datalogger before first power on and the initial setup?  Thanks!!
Also any tips or hints would be appreciated for a newbie Davis owner

I can't think of any reason to wait before installing the logger - just do that before powering up the console and then proceed.

Agreed no issue with installing the Datalogger on first start up. In fact if you run WeatherLink software you can do all you basic setup from the software and not the console.
Saves a lot of time.
