Large and Dangerous Tornado
« on: May 09, 2015, 10:42:04 PM »
There is a large and dangerous tornado in Nebraska the radar image looks extremly impressive. It looks to have been on the ground for  just over an hour but mostly over fields thank god. It looks to be possibly weakening at this point.

You mean Kansas? I've been watching that cell for at least 90 minutes. It's had a TVS the entire time. Just a couple counties west of Hays where our buddy Ryan used to be!

12 tornado reports and 1 funnel cloud report from this cell so far. Mighty impressive.

Last couple of frames have shown signs of weakening when you get a cross section of it. Very impressive AND dangerous supercell though. Doubt (And hopefully) it will make it to Oberlin.
