Solor Power Question
« on: January 19, 2008, 03:46:40 PM »
Is there a way to determine the voltage or if the ISS is using solor power. Also is there a way to check the status of the battery via the console?

Thanks In Advance...

Yes, get a volt meter and measure the output from the cable coming from the solar cell. You need to set the meter to DC and it should read approximately 3 volts on a sunny day. I don't think there is a way to check the status of the battery from the console. I've only experienced low battery warnings but have never seen an exact figure.

Thanks for the response. It would be nice if the voltage was displayed to the console.
