NSLU2 as VP2 interface host
« on: January 10, 2008, 08:53:43 PM »
Anybody here using a Linksys NSLU2 as the interface host for their VP2?  I have one running Unslung and have compiled wview for it.  I have not moved the serial port cable yet but am working on getting another usb to serial adapter.  Just looking for similar experiences....

I can report that the IOGEAR usb to serial converter with the NSLU2 works quite well.  My primary computer is now free from the VP2 but I can still do all the web stuff from the NSLU2.  Free software and ZERO noise from the NSLU2 since I am using a 1 GB flash drive for storage.
