So today I took delivery of my 'WeatherSleuth,' also branded as Watson W8681, WH2600, Ambient Weather WS-1001, Maplin Wi-Fi weather station, etc...
My particular model does not come with a console, but uploads directly to weather underground hence the lower price (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00ZVFZUS6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

First impressions are very good! A breeze to set up and uploads well. As I have already got a Davis VP2, I installed this new station right next to it as shown in the pictures. Therefore as data is collected, it will be interesting to see what disparities there are (if any).

It should be noted that the VP2 anemometer is mounted separately with the transmission kit located on the roof, therefore there will be an obvious difference here. Furthermore, the solar sensor for the VP2 is mounted slightly higher so a difference may be seen when the sun is lower in the sky.

For anyone looking for a comparison in data, considering the VP2 is a lot dearer, links are provided:
