I used to use Blue Iris and was happy, but now with the MAC  I cannot locate an app that works with Foscam IP cameras .  Some sort of work, some do not.

Good luck with that! Try http://formac.informer.com/blue-iris  What's funny is there is really good webcam support in Unix (the heart of OSX)
