Thought I should do an update. Today's snow Cocorahs (.32), 8" diameter SRG (.33). The big difference in snowfall was this one had little wind while last snow had 42 mph gust, also temperature was colder below 12° throughout snow.
Also something I did different with the heated rain gauge was pre-treat with Dupont Snow and Ice repellent helping reduce evaporation allowing snow melt to bead and roll into tipper faster. Error on heated tipping bucket was 10% vs 32% without treatment.
