Title: WeatherLink IP Breakthrough
Post by: parkernathan on August 26, 2012, 12:21:54 AM
Joe and the rest of the PWS Weather team, read this:

and this: http://www.wxforum.net/index.php?topic=16420.0

This DOES WORK with PWS Weather. Very well actually!

The WeatherLink IP breakthrough you've been wanting I believe has finally happened.

Hi Nathan,

Outstanding!  Thanks for keeping PWSweather in your thoughts as this has been developed.  I'll take a look at it more in a few days.  Right now I'm involved in a project to lift a 400' radio tower straight up and replace the base.  What my weather career lacks in excitement my radio career fills in for.  :D

Sounds good! We're chatting about it on the Backyard Community, so once you have some free time, feel free to chime in. Sounds fun on the radio tower. :-) The community is testing this though and loving it so far. I think the solution to your WeatherLink IP woes are finally over. I've been testing this myself too and it's fantastic. It's also FAST. It's able to send the data to you faster than most other solutions I've seen publishing to you.
