weewx is weather software for the Davis VantagePro, written in Python, and runs on Linux. It's designed to make it easy to experiment with new software ideas. For more info:

services. The download distribution includes services for synchronizing the station clock, posting to the weather underground, generating reports, and other odds and ends.
The standard report service generates HTML, images, NOAA reports and FTPs them up to a web server. It's easily extensible.
A sample new "alarm" service is included that sends out an email should an arbitrary expression evaluate true.
