Topic: Are Atlas now safe to buy?

I've been watching posts and on-line reviews of the Atlas PWS and wondering if all quality issues are resolved and its safe now to buy one and not have those issues?  Are the Amazon units direct from Acurite or from a 3rd party seller?  Do not want to get an 'old stock' unit with the quality issues.

I like the features of the Atlas vs the AW WS2000 but the WS2000 seems bullet proof from an out-of-box experience.
