WxToImg images problem
« on: March 13, 2016, 04:17:14 PM »
Hi,

I got turnstile antenna and FunCube Pro+ SDR-receiver with Virtual cable to receive NOAA APT weather satellites. I have tried to change the configuration settings, but for some reason images are not perfect, even if the signal is strong.

Question is, what causes this poor image quality? All support is welcome, thanks in advance!

To me it looks like a strong interference pattern but does it do it on all noaa sats or just some? also do you have the bandwidth on the funcube set to wide? 40KHz+ ? what software are you using to run the funcube?

It appears on all received NOAA sat images. All settings are correctly bandwidth 40kHz+ etc. I use SDR Console as remote receiver. I will try to relocate the antenna and see if it helps.

No change and I strongly doubt that it's interference what is causing that... Could it be something in sampling rate? I saw someplace in settings audio receiving settings 44100 and someplace 11025.
