I guess I am not as cynical as some others. I see some very good candidates and a clear choice (for me) in most races. Like Galfert, I prefer voting at my voting place on election day rather than early voting. I will add one more reason for that ... if you vote early and accidentally spoil the ballot, your entire ballot is thrown out and you never know that your vote didn't count. If you spoil your ballot at the polling place, the machine rejects it (at least in my county) and they will issue another ballot to you on the spot. My voting place is only a block from my house, about a two minute walk, so I have no excuse to not vote. I vote in every election, including school board, city offices, bond issues and referendums, etc.
