Dusty With a Chance Sun

Surely no tornadoes here, but we have had weeks of high winds.
This picture is actually the day after the worst of it...
Surely not the view we are used to.

Take away all the vegetation and it looks like some of Curiosity's images on Mars. :lol:

It was rather eerie on the worst day of it - we literally could barely see an outline of the mountains...

We were in Phoenix last week.  We had two days of the blowing dust you speak of.  It is interesting.  I was thinking that the dry climate would be good for my constant sinus problems.....  I ended up with a sinus infection out of all the blowing dust and pollen.  Other than that.... It's beautiful country and we enjoyed our stay.
