geostrophic wind scale map's broken line
« on: November 04, 2011, 08:52:48 AM »
hello,

I've seen the geostrophic wind scale maps and there are a broken line with a number (e.g.: 546).
What does it mean?
e.g.:

FRONTS & SLP
surface 00-120hr

thank you!

May be different on some maps but is likely the geopotential height in meters.
