Text notification Alarms??
« on: January 05, 2017, 05:28:28 PM »
Here in the wonderful state of Michigan it's been cold and very windy I have text alerts set up to notify me if winds are above 24mph, now mind you all day yesterday winds were above that many times according to my 5n1 data plus I've seen it my self on display but I only received 2 high wind notifications by text all day.

My question is why are notifications sporadic like that? why didn't I get notices each time wind exceeded my limit?

Is anyone else seeing this??

Open your dash board and look in Alert contacts and Alert Rules you'll see where you can add a email and or phone number for texts.

Correct: you have to select "Add contact method" to see the phone option.

Also from the MyAcurite app on your phone, Manage Alerts, for each alert you can set it to 'push notifications' and I got a message on my phone today when my rain recorded over an inch.
