The Alabama Weather Prediction Team is a group of weather enthusiasts that have one mission: to inform other members about any severe weather that is approaching, hence our slogan - "weather you want to know for north and central Alabama".
We are a small group of only 3. We are spread out across Alabama, with me in Huntsville, another in Holywood, and another who works as a dispatcher in Shelby. What we do is fairly simple, all we do is relay important information from the Weather Service and Storm Prediction Center but "dumb it down."
I do all of the work on our website, which is powered by Drupal. You can check it out at awpwx.org. I'm constantly working on it, and would appreciate any feedback you can provide.
