RMS600 and the 14F (-10C) issue
« on: January 29, 2012, 11:22:09 AM »
Hi everyone.

I have an Oregon Scientific RMS600 station with two THGN132N external sensors (one indoor and one outdoor). Few days ago temperatures started dropping below -10 Celsius and I noticed that the reported dew point went to 0.0. Also the RH went flat to the last know value for T>-10C.

So the question is that if there is any sensors (compatible with my station) that still measures RH below -10C (14F). Maybe the THGN123N (Ultra Cold Temperature) or THGR122NX?

I use the 122N with the WMR968 and it seems to do ok.  We haven't had any extremely cold weather (below 0 F), but it has hung in there at close to 0F.

Unfortunately NO.  I have the "cold" weather version also.   My regular shack ones perform just as well, and they all have the humidity bug at -10.
