WeatherLink Data Issues With V6.03

(1/2) > >>

stormwatch:
Hi,

Been using Weatherlink for 10+ years with no major problems. Upgraded to V6.03 last year and still no issues. Several Months ago I moved about 7 miles down from my former location and made a new Station as I've done es previously over 10+ years. WeatherLink V6.0 is causing me so many headaches now with my previous 2 years of archived data. Website is www.carolinastormwatch.com using the latest Version of WD.

I have spent the last 2 months trying to get the last 2 years of data back in WeatherLink. The last 2 years of data was lost is not in NOAA Reports including This Month(10/2018). I have read the formums many times, the instruction Manuals and obviously I am missing something. If I enter Browse all my records appear but when I click on a day, month or year the data is is not there (since 3/2017). The days, months and years since 11/2001 are there but if I pick (ie.) August 2017 the month comes up but is not populated. I probably deleted a file(s) by mistake. How can I get the last 2 archived  years back. I have tried so many things I can't name them all.  :?:

I have attached a couple shots of what I am trying to explain. ANY help with finding the correct way (database to import and how) would be greatly appreciated!!!

Bushman:
Where are all your .WLK (Weatherlink) files?

Hi Bushman,

My .wlk files are in the New Station Folder like I have had them. That is where they have always been. I am just puzzled over this whole issue. I went as far as to uninstall Weatherlink about a week (saved my files) ago and reinstalled. I installed WeatherLink where I always have on my C: Drive but I did not put it in Program Files  which I NEVER have. Don't think this an issue.

Thanks,

Tom

So do have all the .WLK files or have they been lost (deleted)? If you don't have them and don't have a backup then you would have to consider them gone, period.

If you do have all the files then before going any further archive and backup all the .WLK files before going any further in case you have a total malfunction. You may have a corrupted .WLK which is preventing loading further files beyond a certain point?

Hi Mark. Yes, I have all of my .wlk files from 11/2001 thru the present. To be honest the only thing I can think of is maybe there is a corrupted .wlk file but all of my Logfiles in WD are correct. Not sure where the the corrupted .wlk file could possibly be but I will try to look again and see if one doesn't look right and try that.

Thanks for the suggestion!
