I recently added a 3rd cam and today I put together an organized page for all of them.  Here is a map showing the scope of my view:

Here is the link to my new webcam page:  http://www.skunkbayweather.com/SkunkBayWebcam.html

Thought I'd Share,

First full day for my AmbientCamHD. Still getting used to the software and posting on WeatherUnderground. So far, so good. From dawn to dusk.

It’s been about 3 months and the Ambient Cam (Foscam) is still running smoothly. Considering how many people seem to hate Foscams I’m surprised but no problems so far. Keeping my fingers crossed.  I even added 3 more Foscam 1905p’s which you can see here: http://creekbed.org/bandh/webcams.htm

Was looking through the webcam images this evening and noticed the following one on Cutty's Southwest Live Streaming image. Not sure what I am seeing on that image but perhaps Cutty is launching rockets???

My station has been online for just over a year.  I recently added a view from one of my security cameras to the site.  The camera is a Foscam FI9004W and I'm currently using BlueIris to upload.  I post every 10 minutes and don't currently have any weather related overlay.  Working on it though.

Cheers!

Chris

very nice Paul, just a little thing off topic -

when I go to you komokaweather.ca site (any except for homepage), I see this at the top:

Samsung SCB-2000 fed into an Avermedia TV Tuner capture card (Express Card Slot). Looks like I might have to adjust the focus a bit. Software is YawCam which seems to be a bit finicky. It's the easiest that I've found to overlay the weather data though. Camera is pole mounted on roof inside a cheap enclosure (heated and fans) found on amazon.

What I like about this camera is it's amazing night quality. I get really nice color night time shots and you can still see the stars.

Hi Ryan,

Yes, it is a combination theater room/man cave, computer room, etc.  There are 3 computers in this room. The one directly behind me is the weather computer. All 3 computers were built by yours truly. I am currently using the oldest of the 3 (7 years old - AMD Dual core CPU). The theater equipment consists of a Denon THX 700 watt A/V Receiver, and a Panasonic 1080p DVD player. Both are circa 1997-1998. Not shown, there is a projector (Runco?) behind the camera hanging from the ceiling. The speakers are the Klipsch THX Ultra 2 certified Home Theater system. The screen is a real theater screen.  All were courtesy of my late uncle. He worked for Malco Theaters in Memphis, TN from 1964-2010. Mike ordered the screen when he was setting up a new theater and added the custom screen to the order. He received the entire system as a thank you from Mr. Paul Klipsch for helping design the currently used tri-trax THX speaker system used in theaters all over the world.

Hi Joe,

Yes, it can very easily move the house. I have not tried it at reference level. About -12 on the volume knob is as high as I have gone on the volume knob.  I will you all apprised of the installation. My intent is to upload a static pic about every minute and have a 24 hour movie uploaded everyday. We'll see.

John
