Interesting clouds from Space Shuttle

   I found this picture of clouds that the description calls "vortex streets" on NASA website, in the gallery of STS125.

Those look pretty cool Mark! Kind of reminds me of an old paisley print shirt I wore back in the 60's. :lol:

And they all appear to be rotating counter-clockwise?

Hi Henry,
     The picture was taken over Cape Verde Islands  in the Atlantic.

While looking this up I found another image.  This one is of the same type clouds.  This one is over the Canary Islands.
