CWOP reporting Times
« on: December 23, 2014, 02:07:04 PM »
I have a Davis weather station with VWS software.I am just setting up cwop reporting and I am having a few issues maybe someone could help me with ? First if I close VWS and re-open APRS does not start I have to go into file and open it I have minimize at startup checked. also I have interval set at 10 minutes yet it is reporting every 30 minutes? Any suggestions would be appreciated

You'll need the plug in for VWS...  Click on VWS "servers" tab... "APRS" ... you can then set up

There is a separate application file that you put in your VWS directory, then start it up after VWS has started.

Fill out your lat/long and CWOP numbers, and it'll start sending data to CWOP for you.  VWS doesn't do the actual sending.  The VWSAPRS application reads the VWS data files directly.  So no other setup needed other than the lat/long CWOP number.
