Twitter script with VWS software

Ive been trying to modify the script for the Twitter API to work with VWS, but cant seem to get it to work.  My cron job runs, but puts incorrect data up on my twitter.  Has anyone tried and succeeded at getting this to work with VWS?  Thanks!
