I think this is a little ridiculous. I mean what classifies them as naming a winter storm and not naming one? The US goes through WAY more winter storms than hurricanes, so why name them?

Here's a video of how the snow storm looks like in Kansas above it in a plane.  Here, later, tonight when the 2nd storm arrives, it's expected to be a wintry mix with accumulation of snow and sleet of 2 to 4" possible with low around 32.  May be subject to change.   The heavy frosting from the first storm, which wasn't a strong one,  has already melted.
