This little gem from NOAA can help you with your weather photography:

http://www.esrl.noaa.gov/gmd/grad/solcalc/

Click on Sunrise and Sunset and lines will radiate out from your location to the point on the horizon where the sun will rise or set.  Click on Local Time and a line will be drawn to the current postion of the sun.

Want to know where on the horizon the sun will rise in August input the date and the line will be drawn.

The other information is great for folks who wear sundials on their wrists (equation of time - deviation of sundial from local time, Solar noon - deviation of sundial from standard time).

Something else I use is called TPE (the Photographer's Ephemeris).
