VP Live and Vantage Vue

Will VP Live work with a Vantage Vue? I've been trying to get it to work but I get "Unable to send Wake Up Console (Timed out)". I'm using the same serial port that works in WL, VWS, Cumulus. I feel like I'm missing something that should be obvious. I thought I had seen remarks that VP Live would work with a Vue, but then I only see references to Pro and Pro 2 in other places.
